#reverb10 - Day One - One Word

I discovered Reverb10 yesterday while catching up on Twitter so I'm a little late to the party, but I'll do my best to catch up.  It's not like I have anything else to do....are you sensing a bit o' sarcasm in that statement?  LOL.

So here goes....

"December 1 – One Word. Encapsulate the year 2010 in one word. Explain why you’re choosing that word. Now, imagine it’s one year from today, what would you like the word to be that captures 2011 for you? (Author: Gwen Bell)"

One word:  Change

I know, it's not a very poetic word but 2010 has been filled with change--lots of good change.  I started out with the usual resolutions, ideas, hopes, plans, etc. but per usual I wasn't doing anything about manifesting those ideas, hopes, plans and resolutions.  I started a blog in 2008 called Kreative Notions and it wasn't until this year that I finally went about getting a fictitious name, business license and sellers permit so that I could transform that blog into a website....and start a part-time home business.

In June I took a huge leap forward and joined a Zumba class.  I don't do groups, so this was a huge out-of-the-box experience for me.  In addition to the fact that I had this crazy idea that I'd go to the gym after I got into shape.  LOL.   As you may have read in previous posts, I've had my struggles consisting mostly of those mind games we play with ourselves when Ms. Chatterbox reminds us of all the reasons we can't do something, aren't good enough to do it and will never succeed.

Bah!

Throughout the year I have been putting myself out there and now participate as a Luminous Lounger at  Sanity Journals Journaling Lounge.  Opportunities I hadn't expected to see are appearing right before my eyes.  Inspiration is overflowing and the days of feeling like I have no purpose, nothing to contribute or do besides the laundry are fading away and morphing into days of creativity and blessings.

But boy is my house is a mess!

At this time next year....I'd like my One Word to be....um, there are so many.  Balance comes to mind.  Success.  Vibrant.  Alive.  Healthy.  Whole.  Empowered.  Transformed.

just pick one already.

It appears Ms. Chatterbox would like me to narrow it down.  As my days are now filled with as many want-to-dos as need-to-dos I'm going to shoot for....Balance.  A nice healthy balance in my diet, exercise, mood, relationships, creativity, writing, business activities and domestic duties.

Yeah...that ought to do it.  A nice, peaceful balance full of abundant thoughts and microMOVEments toward success, vibrancy, aliveness, health, wholeness, empowerment and transformation.
