Sunday, March 27, 2011, Sunday Seven - Singles

Um, it's Sunday but at least it isn't Tuesday. Who'da thunk that a little list post would be so challenging? I'm listing things in my head all the time, but making those lists fun or interesting for desiring minds is much more difficult than I initially thought it would be. Perhaps you could give me a few suggestions for the next list posting in the comments? Yeah, that would be cool!

I'm working in the studio today....organizing tax papers for me & my husband.

Or is that my husband and me? Or my husband and I? LOL. I prefer to write without rules.

It's such a daunting task that I have decided to see what tunes I go to the most within my library. I'd say it pretty much represents the last month or so. I've got over 3,000 tracks housed in my iTunes Library, that's almost 9 days worth of continuous play (and that doesn't count the numerous CDs I've purchased over the years that have not made the journey to my computer). Who can keep track? Not to mention that I recently purchased the latest from Adele; 21, and Avril Lavigne; Goodbye Lullaby. I'm diggin' both from beginning to end! That's rare.

Here they are...the Seven Most Played Tunes in my, today:

  1. The Sound of Sunshine - Michael Franti & Spearhead
  2. F**kin' Perfect - P!nk
  3. Raise Your Glass - P!nk
  4. It Happens - Sugarland
  5. Mirror - Mary J. Blige
  6. Dog Days Are Over - Florence + The Machine
  7. Say Hey (I Love You) - Michael Franti & Spearhead

What's playin' in your ear?  What are your go-to pick me up songs?  What songs appear to be written for or by you?
