Saturday List O' Seven - Passionate about Creativity

I used to think I had to focus on just one creative task, idea, project, style in order to define my creative self. That couldn't be further from the truth. Various types of creative energies appeal to me, bring me joy, afford me my sanity and bring about insights I might not have had if I hadn't tried. It's fun and a challenge to discover ways in which to bind them together. Sadly, I can't seem to get my daughter to play with me. :(

Seven Favorite Creative Activities/Play Dates (in NO particular order):

  1. Glass painting (recently discovered)
  2. Art Journaling (I'm a newbie at this too--just did my first image transfer yesterday)
  3. Journaling/Writing
  4. Decoupage
  5. Collage
  6. Paper crafts/Rubber stamping
  7. Photography

How do you bring creativity into your daily life? Whot?! You don't think you're creative? Consider this: maybe you're an exceptional luggage packer, or have a talent for organization, or creating your own recipes in the kitchen. Perhaps you throw great parties, or are good at bringing people together. What is it that you create in your life? What gift do you bring to your family and/or community?
